We Heard You - The Future is the Past

Dear Players,

About two months ago we released what we thought of as the new version of My Lust Wish. We dove into development of what we thought would be a great, fun and sexy game that you will enjoy. Before committing to it , we ran polls on discord and tried to communicate the reasons behind this change. The past 2 months, since the release, we have been reading and gathering all the feedback we could and we think overall, it’s safe to say the vast majority greatly dislikes the changes. As hard as it is for us after so much work - it’s time to admit: if you were vocally pushing against the changes from day one:

We were wrong. You were right. You ARE right.

Whatever it is we made - it is a new game and has not enough to do with the premise of “My Lust Wish”.

We will revert the Steam page back to the old version and the update we released a month ago will get a new page and will be treated as a completely new game. You should already see this change alongside this post.

As for the future and the development of My Lust Wish - we want to be very honest and open, as we always tried to be - we are having a hard time.- We are discouraged and are at a loss. Simply put - we don’t know what to do. We know a lot of you are angry, and you have every right to be. But do believe us we have always tried to do our best, and failing sucks. We said for a very long time now that the scope of the original game was over-promised by the original team and can’t be made by just a few people. If we kept working on it, it would just forever be in early access and development. This current team doesn’t share the passion for paranormal and succubus and we can’t really work on an adult game that we are not “turned on” by. We can’t make a full live-sim with just a few people and a small budget. We are at a loss.

And so, we want to learn from the past and come to you and ask you. What should we do? We are open to any ideas, critique and feedback - we know you will be angry and we deserve it, so while you are civil about it we would welcome it. And while being angry is ok and we understand, please know that we want to work with you to solve this. To make something that will make you all happy in this situation we are all in, which is not great, but also be realistic about it.

* We understand some people did buy the game because of the new social media premise so - those who purchased the game between August 16th and today will get the new social media game for free when it is released - we will update on how to get your copy once we have a Steam page and Discord page for it.
