The Blood Diary. Attack Animation!

We want to share with you one of the most complex and beautiful elements of our game - the attack animation of the main heroine.
The image shows three key frames that will become part of a full attack animation. There will be dozens more frames in between. Every movement, every curve of the body is entirely hand-crafted by a single artist.
This is not just "a few sprites" - it’s a long, smooth, cinematic attack sequence, where:
the motion begins with a soft preparation;
then comes a sharp, predatory lunge;
and finishes with a powerful final strike full of character and force.
We assemble all of this into a complex animation where every detail matters: light, shadows, hair dynamics, hand positions, facial expression, and more.
And all of it is for one purpose - to make every battle feel alive, intense, and truly beautiful, so you can feel the heroine’s power and enjoy every single hit.
