Before the Great Passive Aggression, mastering sword or spell were the only paths open to a male with ambition. Those and prowess in the bedroom, of course. Either way, their life would have been one of submission and servitude.

Now that males are no longer welcome within the walls of Manzaberranzan, only females can fulfil those same functions, which is generally not considered an ideal option for any young dark elven maiden.

The Goddess, after her transformation, seems to have lost her taste for blood. The war with the high elves is over, and the coexistence between the noble houses of the realms below has become peaceful. Even sworn enemies generally prefer to solve their differeces with long sessions of intense hate-fucking.

Nevertheless, the need for a standing army and dedicated scholars has not completely dissipated. Magic remains a powerful and flexible tool, while strong steel is still necessary to guard the accumulated wealth of the Goddess’s chosen.

Perhaps most importantly, those of warrior or mage remain two possible venues for the few girls who are not interested in walking the Path of Perpetual Pleasure or wish to master the Tantric Technique of The Ten Thousand Throbbing Tendrils.

According to the rumors, many closeted heterosexual girls find refuge in the barracks of the army or within the libraries of the tower of magi.
