October Update!

21/10/2025 · Release · Jury - Episode 1: Before the Trial

Hello Jurors!

It’s been a while! My apologies! I know it’s annoying when devs don’t post what’s going on. I’ll try and be better.

It’s been a bit of a quieter summer for me in general after the first part of Episode 3 Part 1. I had my wedding, honeymoon, and had a lot of family events (significant birthdays and such). Honestly, after any major release, I tend to take a little bit of a break for mental health. When you’re spending every evening after work, and most weekend days working, you do need to take it a bit easier to avoid burnout and not reach the point where it's a 'chore' to work on. I still love working on Jury, and it's genuinely my passion - I don't want to lose that.

I have been working on Episode 3 Part 2, so don’t fear, it’s well under way. I’m about 1000 images in now, and 37 animations. It’s not been as quick as usual for the reasons stated above, but it’s picking up speed. Now the weather has gotten cooler and darker, I’m spending a lot more of my evenings working on the game to get the rest of the episode to you asap. It's not fun to be sat in a small home office with 2 computers and 3 monitors on in 30 degree heat!

I’m just going through the psychologically hardest part of the episode to create (from a developer persepctive - the court scenes). While they are important scenes, they have tonnes of characters to pose so the progress is always quite slow there - and they aren’t exactly the ‘fun’ ones to render! I'm almost through it now, so then it's onto the more motivating stuff! The girls!

Following the court stuff, there’s the afternoon scenes to create (already written), then the episode finale, which is an ambitious free roam – Honestly, I can’t wait for some of the later scenes! They’re a lot of fun and there is opportunity to progress relationships with all the love interests.

Again, apologies for the quite long break in communication, but I’m back now and will be trying to most at least monthly with updates for you all!

Lots of love, and thank you again for your support so far.
