Next Fest has started! It will take place over the next week. Around the middle of the festival I will be releasing a moderately large content update, so stay tuned and keep an eye out for it.

A patch has been released to fix many of the issues people have reported over the last couple days. Most importantly, the black screen problem which was blocking many people from accessing the game has now been fixed. I have also added a toggle to re-enable the old jump behavior, as many people preferred this style of gameplay. To enable it, turn on "Disable Ability Cooldowns" in the game section of the settings menu.

Version 2.0.3 Patch Notes:

  • Version 2.0.1 introduced a bug which prevented you from clearing selected starting girls and slug mods. This issue has been fixed

  • Fixed a bug where you could select the same starting girl twice.

  • Fixed a fatal start up error where the game would crash if one of your saves was corrupted. Many thanks to janosik from the Discord for providing the save file that allowed me to reproduce this problem

  • Fixed a bug where the Bastion slug frame could start with only 5/8 HP.

  • Fixed a problem where toolips were marked as interactable, meaning they could block the object they were tool-tipping and create an annoying flashing effect as they toggled on and off. This fix improves the usability of the loadout screen with mouse input

  • Slightly increased the amount of futonium you receive after completing the Makeda and Blake missions. The bonus is +25, which allows you to equip new slug mods straight away after purchasing them the first time through.

  • The default girl interact frequency is now "Always".

  • The game now has a pity system, where if you make it to the boss but die during the fight you will get a free NanoCore.

  • Added another 5 overtime levels. The game now supports up to Overtime 10. If you actually reach this level and still want more content, ping me in general and I'll look into adding another 5 levels.

  • Fixed various spelling & grammar errors

  • There was a bug where the Kessa sex scene event would sometimes spawn in the map, but not be interactive. I was not able to reproduce this issue, but I have re-written the part of the event system responsible for handling this logic to be more robust. If you get this problem again please let me know in the feedback thread.

  • Fixed the text auto-sizing in various menus to make the text more readable in certain languages. This change is most significant for the Slavic, Romance and Germanic languages.

  • The bikini armor perk was broken by the scaling changes introduced in version 2.0. You would still die in one hit, but get no extra damage in return. This issue has been fixed.

  • Fixed a bug where the crawling enemies in the Blake mission would sometimes move super-slow.

  • Legendary girl turrets were formerly unaffected by the laser girl synergy. Now they will emit lasers when this synergy is active.

  • Minor improvement to the Blake character art

  • Fixed bug where the game could lock its own save file, causing a black screen

  • Minor improvements to the explosive disk enemy

  • The meta-progression percentage tracking was including some items it should not have, which was causing the game to report less then 100% completion even with all the meta-progression nodes unlocked. This problem has been fixed now.

  • The girl quantity scaling rule would not highlight the correct slot when viewed in the shop menu if you had more then 3 girls of a given type in your party. This issue has been fixed now.
