Native Linux Build Release! - Update 1.1 Progress Report

28/02/2026 · Release · Monster Girl Invasion RPG - Part 1

Hello Monster Girl Lovers,

It’s been a bit quiet on the devlog front lately, but I wanted to pull back the curtain and show you what’s happening behind the scenes. Work on Version 1.1 is progressing very well, and the finish line is coming into view!

The Road to 1.1 As a solo developer, balancing the technical side with the creative side is a marathon. Right now, the "wait" for the major update is primarily down to new art assets. High-quality art is a big investment, and because I’m funding this independently, I have to pace the commissions. It takes a little longer, but I promise the jump in quality is worth the wait.

Native Linux Support is Here!

While the art for 1.1 is being finalized, I’ve hit a major technical milestone: The native Linux build is officially live! This has been a long-requested feature, and I’m thrilled to finally welcome Linux users to the game with a dedicated build. If you've been waiting to play on your OS, now is the perfect time to jump in.  Linux is quite new to me, so please don't hesitate to let me know if you find issues with the build or Linux specific bugs.

Speaking of art... here is a sneaky look at two of our new characters joining the roster:

Working out the icy designs was so fun. Can’t wait for you to meet them.

Be careful where you camp, who knows what might creep into your tent!

Bug Fixes & Feedback

I also want to acknowledge that I’ve been reading every bug report. I’m currently squashing the party member softlocks and the Android card minigame issues, along with several other community-reported bugs. These fixes will be bundled into the 1.1 launch to ensure the most stable experience possible.

Thank you all for the patience and the constant support. It truly keeps the engines running.
