Episode 11: Preview

Hey guys!

Glad to be back and finally share some news! I took a few days off, recharged, and got back to work a bit more than a week ago. And here is what has been done since then:

I finished that secret non-spoiler Violet scene. It ended up with 193 renders, which is much bigger than I originally planned. I guess I got a little carried away with transitional pics this time, heh… but on the bright side, the scene now has very smooth pacing and extremely clear visual storytelling.

The other completed scene is a small setup with Officer Laura Cope, important for the next chapters. She continues investigating Charlie’s case and will soon discover something new, but for now she is still digging. I really enjoy working with her character. Her expressions and emotions are a lot of fun to render, and I can’t wait to dive into her full arc later.

And now I’m starting Faith’s big scene. It will have two main branches, lots of animations, and plenty of good moments. The premise is a bit unusual this time: MC needs to help Faith recover memories of the life she once had, repair the damage Jake caused, and guide her back toward what she was used to. But during the process things go absolutely not as planned, and both of them need to come up with a new approach to get the job done.
I know it sounds a bit abstract, but I can’t reveal more without spoiling the whole experience. It’ll be fun, and I really hope you’ll enjoy the scene once you play it!

And a quick word about the overall progress.
Right now, around 75% of the update is done. The update recently passed 1000 renders. If you like exact numbers, so far it includes:

• 1142 images

• 32 animations

• 27 finished scenes

And the remaining scenes are:

• Faith’s scene — 13 script pages

• Emma’s scene — 1 script page

• Violet’s scene — 7 script pages

• Megan’s scene — 7 script pages

• Special scene — poll coming later
