Devlog #01 – Meet the villagers!

Hey everyone! It’s GameBear again, and today I’m sharing more details about my upcoming project, Lecherous Village.

In this post, I’m showing the main character and the villagers who support her in Wolfpine by training her, selling supplies, and upgrading her gear and stats for a reasonable fee.

Lynn and the villagers:

Lynn – the main character. She is a pragmatic young woman. Each night the same dream calls her to Wolfpine, so she travels there and stays after she sees the village is in trouble.

Gort – an old, well-educated goblin who runs an alchemist shop in Wolfpine and sells potions and bombs to passing adventurers. He keeps the shop tidy, speaks like a scholar, and does not want Wolfpine destroyed because people in other settlements may be less tolerant of a goblin.

James – a local merchant. He is the first to meet Lynn in the village and offers his help. He is shy and gentle, but he runs the shop well and makes good profit from adventurers.

Borus – a former soldier, now the village’s headman. He watches over Wolfpine to keep it safe, and he offers training, guidance, and advice to adventurers. He is the main source of information about the magical region near the village, and he shares his opinion on what Lynn should do next.

Amber – the guild master of the local Adventurer’s Guild. She runs the guild office, gives out jobs, and looks after the adventurers who take work from Wolfpine. She understands the village depends on adventurers, so she focuses on their safety and on making sure they are ready for the dangers ahead.

Keira – the local blacksmith. She is tall, strong, and friendly, and she works long hours in the smithy making armor and weapons. Rumors say she is one of the few smiths who can craft magical artifacts.

Ravena – the village’s witch. She uses unorthodox methods to gain magical power and offers counsel, and for a fee, she enchants armor and weapons.

These are the villagers you meet early in Wolfpine, and you’ll see them again when you return to restock, train, or upgrade.

Outside the village walls, more characters and creatures live in the wild. Some are friendly and offer Lynn help, and some try to trick her and slow her down.
