Some players see Chapter 1 as a dual structure: Pure or Corrupt.

That impression makes sense. Chapter 1 establishes Laura’s initial direction under pressure. It forces a line to be drawn.

But Special Request is not built around two endings.

The game offers three play modes:

  • Full Interaction

  • Kinetic (Pure)

  • Kinetic (Corrupt)

The Kinetic modes are not alternative narratives. They are curated psychological extremes — versions where the maximum Pure or maximum Corrupt choices are made for you. They are designed for players seeking a streamlined, dramatic experience without the need to make decisions.

The full experience, however, is not binary.

  • Chapter 1 establishes direction.

  • Chapter 2 introduces divergence.

From Chapter 2 onwards, corruption is no longer a single arc. Perception, reputation, and key character reactions begin to reshape how Laura is treated — and what becomes available to her. Not just what she does — but how others interpret it.

Across the four chapters, your choices build up. The story is crafted to result in several truly different final outcomes—not just variations on the same ending, but unique conclusions shaped over time.

Special Request was never meant to be a morality slider. It is a long-form psychological escalation system.

And Chapter 1 is only the foundation.
