Dates & Wires: Augmented Edition Launches!
Hello, Wireheads!
Dates & Wires: Augmented Edition, our dating sim of questionable hook-ups in the cyberpunk ‘90s that never were, is officially live on the Steam storefront. As newly-single tourists let loose on the (thankfully fictitious) Republic of Stradania, players embark on a journey through sketchy nightclubs, bad VR trips, worse experimental music, and a whole lot of red flags as they meet and (potentially) romance six characters with their own unique brand of damage.
Based on the long-running webcomic Drugs & Wires[drugsandwires.fail], Dates & Wires: Augmented Edition features almost 60,000 words of narrative with partial voice acting, multiple endings, and story routes. The game also supports Steam achievements and Steam Deck play. Please be aware that Dates & Wires contains some mature content, including drug references and mildly suggestive sexual elements - make sure to check the content warnings on our store page for more details.
Dates & Wires was produced by veteran game artist Mary Safro, with additional writing by Io Black (Neurocracy) and Ella McConnell (Baldur’s Gate 3), and music by NINGEN[ningen.bandcamp.com] and MATT HART[matthart.bandcamp.com].
