Creating a Demo and casual hotfixes
Hey, Thanks to everyone who is playing, following along, and participating!
The first two weeks of being released on steam have been great! Seeing all the new players, watching the achievements, and seeing the interest is very exciting.
I will resume my normal regular progress reports on the third Wednesday of each month.
UPDATES and HOTFIXES
It seems like the worst of the bugs have been found. For a while I was making some minor tweeks and when a bug was found, I'd fix it and push out the hotfix. This is still my plan but if there aren't any major bugs, I might just choose a calendar date and make the last minor fix on that day.
Thanks to everyone for the feedback!
FAQ's
What's plan for future consent? Is there a roadmap?
I have a fulltime job and I work on the game when I can. I've tried adding some people to the team but none have worked out well, yet.
So, I don't have a roadmap. What I do is post extremely open progress reports that track word count, image count, and whatever metrics I think will best communicate the work being done. Examples would be in previous devlogs.
How long is the game going to be? Will there be seasons?
I have an ending in mind for the first story arc. Releasing in seasons and episodes is up to steam and what they allow. I'd love to keep adding to the current build and raise the price for every chapter but that might have to be in the form of DLC.
For a while there, I was just refreshing the page to make sure that the game was still up.
If you don't know. This game started on Itchio, where I published my previous game and a "demo disk". Baskin and the Demo disk were taken down and it continues to bug me.
Do you have a patreon? (This was an honest question from a person, not a plug.)
I do have a Patreon and Substar but I haven't read the rules for where I'm allowed to post those links.
I feel safer without posting links. In my opinion, buying the game alone is extremely wonderful, and I intend to raise the price with each major update to incentivize buying the game early.
My patreon is not for my game but for me. It gets people access to what I'm working on, short stories and fiction, and special renders.
Do you have a paywalled discord server?[discord.gg]I have a discord server and there is a paywalled section with special renders for backers and beta testers, but the server is open for anyone to join. Click here to join the sever. Eighteen and over only, please. If you want to see adult content, you must ask and you will be given permissions.CLICK HERE[discord.gg]
Will you do a translation?
Yes, I do intend to have the game translated. This game has several reginal references and a lot of jokes. So, translation won't be an easy or cheap task because it needs someone with a brain who is also funny. If you have any translators that have made good translations into your language, that would be helpful.

Coming Demo
As mentioned, I used to have a demo for Baskin. It was actually in a package with a collection of game ideas that I fleshed out and had people vote for their favorites. Which seems like a nightmare to bring to steam--BUT I WOULD.
Right now the plan to to make a slice of the existing game as a fresh demo. I have a poll on my discord for details.
-Do you want nudity?
-Do you want the old demos?
-Director's Commentary?
That poll will close in three days. Share your thoughts, please.
Thank you all for reading!
