About the Launch & What Happens Next

08/12/2025 · Patch Notes · My sexy Neighbour 2

First of all - we’re sorry.

We know the launch wasn’t as smooth as it should have been, and we genuinely apologize to everyone who ran into crashes, stutters, broken saves, or anything else that pulled you out of the experience. You deserved better, and we take that seriously.

We see the issues.

We hear you.

And we’re already working hard to make things right.

So let’s talk openly about what happened.

Why MSN2 Is So Different - And Why Problems Happened

With the sequel, we wanted to go much bigger than in the first game.

The first My Sexy Neighbor was simple and linear - one house, one character.

MSN2 is the opposite: a full neighborhood, multiple characters, open progression.

And because the game is now much larger and more complex, a lot more systems interact with each other behind the scenes. When everything is connected, unexpected issues pop up - especially once thousands of players start doing things we never could’ve predicted during testing.

This is why some crashes, stutters, and save problems slipped through.

Not because we didn’t test - but because MSN2 is a very different, much bigger creature than MSN1.

Still, this is on us.

And we’re fixing it.

🔧 What We’re Doing Right Now

We pushed the first hotfix within the first day, and it helped some players - but not enough.

We’re now finalizing a major stability patch, arriving in the next 48–72 hours, focused on:

✅ Fixing crashes during time/schedule transitions

✅ Improving save-file stability

✅ Reducing stutters & frame drops

✅ Smoothing movement

This patch is already in testing.
