2026 Update
Hi all!
You are all massively overdue an update here on the progress of Ep3Pt2.
It’s going well and in my opinion, you’re going to be very pleased with the new content. It’s essentially on the scale of a whole new episode, which is why it’s taken this long. I don’t want to shortchange and give a smaller second half to something, just for the sake of getting a patch delivered.
I’ve been taking a slightly different approach with developing this part of the episode, creating, and completing each scene one at a time, including testing, audio, variables etc before moving onto the next.
Ep3Pt2 progress has a total of:
Images: 4131
Animations: 256 (It’s actually closer to 300 due to merging multiple anims together in a montage)
Hopefully that gives you some confidence that I’ve not been sat here twiddling my thumbs. I’m really pleased with the content and am definitely enjoying developing in this way.
The good thing about how I’m developing now is that I’m doing updated releases for subscribers to play as I go through – meaning bugs and things like that are all caught early on and it forces me to fully seal a scene before I move onto the next one.
My previous dev model was to get the entire episode done (images/anims rendered), then start bug testing, editing anims, adding sound, achievements, etc etc etc, almost more of a production line – meaning that final job at the end was a little unmanageable and pretty daunting. This way, it’s keeping me focussed on one scene at a time, and it’s being tested as it’s being developed.
It’s also a good way of getting feedback on the plot. Often players point out areas of continuity or improvement that I don’t think about as I’m smashing my keyboard trying to get it done, so overall the quality should be better, and it should be a far less buggy release.
I’ll share a few screenshots with you below, but I don’t want to give too much away.

Staying true to my word, this will be included with Episode 3, so those of you who already have Episode 3 will just get a damn big patch!
Honestly, with the amount of work that has gone into it I should be just selling it as a new episode, but like I said – I’m staying true to my word on the initial promise.
The second part of the Episode really takes you further into the relationships with the characters. This get’s quite tricky at this point of the game, because as true to life, I’m having to write multiple paths inside each scene depending on your progress with the girls, but also dependant on previous scenes played.
As an example, if you’ve not made a solid relationship with girl A by this point in the game, they aren’t just going to jump on you because you decide it might be nice to fool around with them now. So for that reason, I have to write content for 2 sides of a relationship, if that makes sense.
The good thing about the story being this progressed is that by now, you generally know the characters, and they’ve known you for at least a good few days, so the chances of you starting something interesting are more likely! I never wanted to make a game where you could get to fourth base with a girl on the first meet (other than the one who is no longer around). I wanted there to be progression, but with progression and the game learning that progression through variables, it does mean more writing is needed.
In this second half of the episode I’ve also been able to use some pretty cool new techniques for rendering still and animations. I also gave myself a hard time by writing quite a lot of water into the second half, which in hindsight wasn’t a smart move, but I’ve learned a lot from it.
I hope you all having a wonderful start to 2026!
Much love as always for the support!
