About This Game

The main character is John Blackwood, mayor of the dying provincial town of Eldervood. Drought has destroyed the fields, and the people are starving. Their last hope is Queen Emma Ravenscroft, a young widow on the throne whose beauty is legendary and whose coldness is even more so. He comes to ask for help: seeds, engineers, gold, soldiers. In return, he offers everything he has left—rice from the swamps, forests, trade routes, loyalty.
But Emma gives nothing for free. She looks at him as if she already knows what he will pay. One phrase—"Come to my chambers. We'll discuss the details there" — and John understands: the price will not be in gold. The price is himself.
In her bedroom, boundaries collapse. Emma doesn't ask — she takes. Every touch, every moan is the price for the life of an entire city. John gives himself to her completely.
