Imagine waking up one day with a headache and not remembering anything from the last month.
As soon as you walk into your office, you see your computer turned on and a pile of discs that you don't remember leaving there. When you start checking them, you find photos and videos of intimate encounters that you had no memory of.
You would ask yourself, “What is going on? How did all this happen? Why can't I remember anything?”
That's exactly what happened to Grace Anderson, and only you can help her solve this mystery.
Grace Anderson is a 48-year-old woman, happily married with one child.
She works in the linguistics department at Miskatonic University in New Arkham.
Not even in her wildest dreams had Grace imagined committing the acts she now sees on her computer screen.
As she tries to understand what has happened, she will discover a part of herself that had remained hidden,
until now.
Check the disks using a classic point-and-click system and find photos, intimate videos, and phone numbers.
Some files on these disks will take you to Key Decrypt, a clicker-style mini-game where you have to remove symbols until there are none left, thereby “restoring” the file and accessing its clues.
By clicking on the phone on the table, press the numbers you find in the correct order and you can work towards understanding through the conversations how Grace ended up doing the things she doesn't remember.
Click on the camera to clearly view the scenes she was involved in and unlock Grace's memories, enjoying the scenes in higher resolution and storing them in the game's gallery.
Similarly, log into Grace's computer and select the Takarabune icon to access an internet simulation called Control Central, where you can type in keywords to visit clues that shed light on Grace's mysterious amnesia.
