Love Begins With Goodbye is a romance FMV that feels more polished than I expected. The setting in Norway is beautiful, from Bergen to the northern lights, but what really stands out are the three female characters, each with distinct personalities that feel authentic. The relationships develop naturally without forced drama, and sometimes the choices felt…

Although comparatively amateur with a rigid structure, Love Begins with Goodbye manages to counter its weak points with strong endings, good romance arcs, and a fresh setting. After saying goodbye to your childhood friend in China, you travel to Bergen, Norway to study for 6 months. You rent a house with three women. Luo Xue’er is a Chinese student, just l…

Leah is Waifu The number one most important thing this FMV game needed to accomplish, was making its foreign characters (Which is half the cast) high quality and interesting to interact with. I can confidently say that I think they did a good job. Both have good English (actually the Chinese girl has great english too), and were interesting to interact wit…

A Word from the Author:

Hello, I’m Lao Wang, a Chinese person living in Norway. For this game, I designed a theme for each character: The Miracle of Snow, The Price of Freedom, The Witch’s Lie, and The Secret You Can’t Tell. My concept for the game is that while the gameplay is simple, each character offers a completely different experience. The inclusion of foreign beauties isn’t the selling point of the game; the core attraction of this type of game has always been the storyline. This is my strength, which is why I wrote, directed, and edited this game myself. I hope you enjoy this game and have a happy time playing it. Thank you!
