About This Game

Rivers of Astrum: Daughter of Darkness follows the story of Kimberly Ashmoore. Seeking to leave the only place that she has ever called home, Kim embarks on a mission, and gets swept up in a tide of destiny that no one could have predicted. This leaves her forever changed. Whether that change is for the better, or for the worse is for you to decide! (literally!)

Featuring meaningful choices, and dynamic relationships between the cast; the things you say and the actions you take will have impactful changes on the story, both obvious and subtle!

Rivers of Astrum: Daughter of Darkness boasts professionally hired and casted voice actors and actresses as well! (During Early Access, some characters may be unvoiced. Voices can all be muted, collectively or individually by character, for those that wish to play without them!)

And with nearly 40 content filters, the game can be tailored to every player's individual tastes! Most content types can be toggled on or off as desired, to customize the content of the game! (These filters are available through the game's "Preferences" menu.)

Notes from the Developer:

• Rivers of Astrum is a story that I've had in my head for 30 years. In that time it has been written, re-written and revised countless times, as it has evolved over the years. My three big passions are art, storytelling and creation in general. This is a passion project that I've been working on (in some form or another) for nearly 7 years.

• Rivers of astrum is a long-paced story. It has ups and downs just like any other, but this story is intended (in it's final form) to encompass 6 volumes. "Daughter of Darkness" is volume 1 of the Rivers of Astrum Saga.

• I am thoroughly interested in any and all feedback anyone may have, as I've received precious little of it. I also love to engage with the players, so please - if you have any concerns or questions at all - feel free to reach out!

• It is worth noting that I have a standing agreement with the lead voice actress in the game. She voices NSFW scenes at her own discretion, and stops wherever she chooses. This does lead to some partially voiced NSFW scenes, but I personally feel like that's an infinitesimally small price to pay for the talent and immersion that she brings to the project!
