magical artifact in the small town of Hope Springs.
On arrival, Scott meets his new partner, Detective McBrighton, while on a case investigating a burglary at the Winthrope
Manor. Mary Winthrope meets Scott and discovers he has yet to secure lodging in town, inviting him to stay at the manor.
